Free two-week training course to help you step up to Location Manager Roles
The Location Manager is responsible for finding and securing suitable locations for television and film productions. This includes identifying potential locations; negotiating fees; obtaining permits and licenses; and coordinating with the production team to ensure that the location meets their needs.
The training will be very practical with case studies and exercises designed to impart the necessary knowledge and enable people to consolidate their skills with real scenarios including site visits and recces.
Training takes place over 2 weeks face-to-face at our training centre in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. We are a five-minute walk from Chesham tube station on the Metropolitan line.
Each learner benefits from our continuing support and mentorship throughout and beyond the programme.
Following completion of the Skills Bootcamp, participants join our own talent pool, All Spring Talent, where they will get regular job alerts with exciting external career opportunities. Alumni can access employment support from our dedicated Talent Manager through one-to-one catch-ups, CV guidance and interview practice.
This Location Manager Skills Bootcamp is funded through the Department of Education and managed by Buckinghamshire Council and Buckinghamshire Business First.
