All Spring Media is delivering a VFX Production Manager Skills Bootcamp.
The VFX Production Manager’s role is to support the realisation of the creative team’s vision. They provide the link between the production company and the supplier to deliver people and resources to complete the project. VFX Production Managers are essential for the seamless coordination of a project’s visual effects, ensuring everything is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standard. This bootcamp is designed to help VFX coordinators or others with sufficient experience and transferable skills to move into a more senior position.
The VFX Production Manager Skills Bootcamp is fully funded through the Department of Education and is managed by Buckinghamshire council, Buckinghamshire Business First and Bucks Skills Hub.
UPCOMING TRAINING DATES
24th February – 7th March 2025. Applications open 27th January and close 13th January
ELIGIBILITY
– Aged 19 years old or over
– Right to Work and Live in the UK
– Not in education, funded training or enrolled on another Skills Bootcamp within the last 12 months.
– Previous experience as Production Coordinator, Producer, Senior Producer or Executive Producer. Ideally 3 film credits at VFX coordinator level. If stepping across from an advertising role, gaming or animation you may need to demonstrate suitable experience or transferrable skills.

TRAINING COVERED
– Developing, producing and maintaining a project plan to deliver clients objetives.
– Workflow of live-action and CG based projects and functions of departments within that workflow.
– Managing internal resources.
– Project management.
– Internal team management, developing others, setting objectives, managing performance, and giving constructive feedback.
– Understanding cost reports, invoices and ways of tracking completed work.
– Industry standards such as format and quality.
– Professional behaviours and conduct including ethics and respect when dealing with others.
– Creativity – understands creative vision for the production, analyses problems and provides creative solutions to realise the vision.
– Resilience and well-being when dealing with changing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
