Gratitude, Resilience, and Hope:
Wishing You a Wonderful Christmas and New Year

The prospect of a new year brings reflection and the hope that it will be a good year, better than last year. So, as I reflect on 2024, I am overwhelmed with pride and grateful that our determination we had going into 2024, was rewarded.
2024 was a year that exceeded all my expectations – don’t get me wrong, we had bumps along the way, but overall, it has been a positive and uplifting year for all the team and me personally. I have been open about the devastation we felt as individuals and a business after our Ofsted in 2022, so when that phone call came on 16th February, we all felt a sense of dread. Most of 2023 had been about getting back on our feet again and it felt like we were just about standing upright. That call, at the start of 2024, transported us back to 2022 again, which was not a place any of us wanted to be. I am pleased to say that our experience this time was much more positive. We emerged with the result we felt we truly deserved: judged Good across the board.
With Ofsted under our belt, we moved into the Spring with a more confident purpose and it’s probably good that we did. I don’t think any of us anticipated just how much of an impact our training would have. We won contracts with Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire. Worked with Sky Studios, Pinewood Studios, Farnborough International Studios, Cork Films, Aardman Animation, to name but a few. Since the start of January 2024, we have trained nearly 200 people and helped 50% into jobs. In an industry that is still facing a degree of uncertainty in parts of this, we think this is a phenomenal statistic.
The true highlight of the year came in October 2024, when we were honored to win Enterprising Business of the Year at the Buckinghamshire Business Awards. The judges commended us for our resilience—a resilience born out of hope. Even in the darkest days, hope gave us light. Hope is our superpower.
As we move into 2025, I remain hopeful that the year will bring us many more wonderful moments and things to be proud of. It would be remiss of me to end this and not say a massive thank you to the staff team, our freelance trainers, our learners, our partners and stakeholders. Every single one of you has helped in making 2024 a successful year for All Spring Media and for that I am truly thankful.
